About the Role:

Join us at OHC Open Health Chapter Sdn Bhd as a Part-Time Accountant, Administrative Assistant & Sales Support. This flexible, multi-functional role is perfect for someone who wants to make a meaningful impact while balancing responsibilities across accounting, administration, and light sales support.

Given our small scale and early-stage operations, these tasks are manageable within a part-time role. You’ll work closely with our team, helping us lay the foundation as we grow our presence in the Malaysian healthcare market.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Accounting Tasks: Manage day-to-day accounting activities, including basic bookkeeping, accounts payable and receivable, and preparing financial reports. (Current transaction volumes are low, making this manageable in a part-time capacity.)
  • Administrative Support: Provide general office support, such as scheduling, organizing files, managing office supplies, and handling occasional correspondence. (Our office operations are straightforward, so these tasks are designed to be light and flexible.)
  • Sales Assistance: Support our Sales Representative with simple tasks like updating customer information, preparing materials for presentations, and coordinating product demos or training sessions.

About You:

  • You’re adaptable, organized, and comfortable wearing multiple hats in a small, friendly team.
  • You have a background in Accounting, Business Administration, or a similar field, with at least 3 years of experience in accounting, administration, or sales support.
  • You’re proficient in basic accounting software and Microsoft Office.
  • You enjoy the flexibility and variety of working in a smaller company environment and are fluent in English (Bahasa Malaysia is a plus).

About the Role:

We are looking for an ambitious and motivated Sales Representative to join our team. You will play a crucial role in driving the sales and distribution of innovative medical equipment and diagnostic products, helping us expand our footprint in the Malaysian healthcare market. Your expertise and passion for healthcare solutions will help connect us with clinics, hospitals, and laboratories, delivering products that improve patient care and outcomes.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement strategic sales initiatives to promote OHC's medical equipment portfolio to private and public healthcare providers in Malaysia.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with healthcare professionals, decision-makers, and business partners.
  • Identify new business opportunities and work closely with our product management team to expand market reach.
  • Conduct product demonstrations and provide training to healthcare professionals to ensure effective use of medical devices.
  • Collaborate with the management team to set sales targets and contribute to the overall growth of OHC.
  • Stay updated on market trends, competitor activities, and customer needs to continually refine sales strategies.
  • Represent OHC at healthcare exhibitions, conferences, and other industry events.

Qualifications and Skills:

  • Degree in Biomedical Sciences, Medical Technology, or related fields is preferred.
  • A minimum of 3 years' experience in medical equipment sales or a related role.
  • Strong knowledge of the medical device market and an understanding of healthcare providers' needs.
  • Proven track record of achieving or exceeding sales targets.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
  • Ability to work independently, manage time effectively, and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment.
  • Fluent in English (written and spoken); proficiency in Bahasa Malaysia is a plus.
